Last month we spent two days in the valley visiting homes of the children in our Khula Kahle Mntwana (Grow Well Child) Project. Thanks to money raised rom our Fig Tree Breakfast we were able to create ‘Care Packs’ with warm winter clothes and educational toys.
The visit coincided with the aftermath of the riots so the timing was perfect to deliver 250 food parcels, donated by Tracie Klokkie from Hearts in Hands Food Bank.
